Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, I feel a strong connection to the land and people here. I am a porcelain artist but work in various mediums including oils, watercolors, pen and ink and mixed media. I also sculpt on porcelain. I like portraying my subjects in different ways in different mediums, much like telling a story from different points of view. When I see something that stirs a memory or a feeling I want to take the time to tell a little of its story and in the process tell a little of mine.Artist Statement: I firmly believe we all possess this gift that evolves into the art in our lives and it is a story of who we are.
