Jeannette Rowlett is a wire artist. She works with sterling silver and 14k gold filled wire. She makes her own jump rings that are used in her bracelets. The dichroic glass that she used in her wire wrapped pieces is made in her home studio. Jeannette also makes glass beads to enhance her pieces. She gently manipulates the wire into the beautiful swirl and cabochon pendants that she produces.
She is a member and Director of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, as well as a member of the Sheltowee Artisans Guild. Jeannette was president of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, from 2007-2010. Visit the website at www.kyguild.org
The work that Jeannette does can be purchased at the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, Kentucky. She is among 13 artists who make up the Studio Artists Walking Tour, in Berea. Jeannette’s Jewelry shop is located in the Old Town Artist Village, at 139 North Broadway, inside the I Love My Stuff Gallery.
Most of Jeannette’s creations are one of kind pieces. She has done consignment pieces for several people in and out of the state of Kentucky.
