Roger Potts was born in Madison County, Kentucky and grew up near Berea. As a child and also an adult he has always had an appreciation of the rural beauty of Kentucky. As an adult, he traveled from the Atlantic to the Pacific but always retained a love for the Blue Grass and mountains of his state. He considers the old barns and rural landscapes of Kentucky to be similar to what the ruins and castles are to Ireland, a look at an earlier time and for many a glimpse into the world of our families just a short time ago.He has been inspired by his wife Judy, a native of Wolfe County in the eastern mountains of Kentucky, and of course God’s presence in all we see.
