Wesley Page is a self-taught woodworker who has an appreciation for the natural beauty of wood. He grew up in South Central Kentucky and lives with his wife and growing family (five children to date). His influences include Tage Frid, James Krenov, and Charles Radtke.
Wesley specializes in handcrafted, heirloom quality wood products, such as free form art, organic vases, hand carved kitchen utensils, and cutting boards – face grain, edge grain, and end grain. The end grain boards are his favorite to work with due to the magnificent and endless designs that can be created. He has never built the same piece twice. Wesley is able to look at wood and see what the average eye cannot. There are many patterns in wood that come from the natural grain and other characteristics, such as worm holes or knots that add to his creativity.
There is much emphasis on time-honored principles, as this is becoming a lost craft. Each piece is specially designed for endurance, as well as beauty. There is much character, beauty, and detail in each tree, carefully designed by the Master Artist, Himself, the Creator of All. Wesley takes great care as he selects each board for its own characteristics. Each piece is finished using only a natural food grade finish.
Wesley may be contacted via email to receive quotes for custom work or for corporate and wholesale work.
