Deb Chenault, owner/artist of Twelfth House Designs, was privileged to study the art of jewelry design with the master silver artisans of Thailand. She is a juried, exhibiting member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, the Kentucky Craft Marketing Program, and the Sheltowee Artisans and has exhibited her work at many galleries and museums across the region. She works in the traditional, solderless method of wireworking, using only simple tools, dowels and her hands to form her jewelry. Each piece is made by the artist from precious metal, often incorporating gemstones, found and created objects--including porcelain face pendants sculpted by hand. Influenced by her work as a writer and illustrator, she also finds great inspiration for her designs in the natural world. Deb currently makes her home and studio in the wooded hills of beautiful Berea, Kentucky.

Artist’s Statement
“I believe wholly in the rewards of living the creative life. I come to it naturally, descending from a long line of Kentucky artists—including woodworkers, musicians, quilters, writers and painters. With this legacy in mind, I offer my jewelry in the hope that it reflects a long tradition of artistic excellence, created for the shared joy of myself and my customers.”
