Becky DeBord learned her craft at the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts in northern Georgia. Becky makes her wire wrapped jewelry using traditional techniques and a variety of tools, including pliers and wire cutters. Her jewelry is hand crafted from sterling silver, 14K gold filled wire and a variety of semi-precious stones and beads.
Becky is a member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen and the Sheltowee Artisans Guild. She participates in more than a dozen juried shows each year in the state of Kentucky and Tennessee. She has been chosen to be a guest artist at the Harvest Festival in Dollywood for the last five years. She teaches her craft at the William Holland School.
